most of my friends hated the standard shortcut given by Photoshop. if you hate it too, it's really good decision to read this article: D
now I just writing the simple tutorial [because my target to creating a stock avatar is late >.<].
Custom Photoshop Shortcut:
1. go to Edit - Keyboard Shortcut...[Alt+shift+ctrl+K]
[yeah, I believe you will hate the shortcut for that command above LOL]
2. just click the Application Menu Comand that you decided to change, and when there is a small box on the right of the name, just press the shortcut that you want.
3. press OK. or you can save that setting by clicking on the disk icon.
4. that's all :D
actually it's just two simple steps :P
